EVAPORATIVE COOLING
CFW supplies evaporative cooling equipment. This is a cost-effective way of cooling hot and dry environments. CFW’s products include:
- The Powerkool™ evaporative cooling units for commercial / industrial applications (brochure here).
- Wet walls, which are commonly used in agriculture, e.g. in greenhouses or for livestock housing.
- Hutek Evaporative cooling pads.
The most common units use direct evaporative cooling, in which the evaporated liquid dissipates into the environment being cooled rather than being recycled using a close circuit. This technique increases the relative humidity of the environment, usually to above 70%.
